The purpose of the mural exchange is to reuse murals/3D and give them a second life after prom.
2026 Community Mural Exchange Update:
Big changes this year! Murals will not be taken down the night of prom. Instead, PHS will open on Sunday, May 31 from 9:00–10:15 AM for mural pickup. Come during this time to view, measure, and take murals that can be reused. The goal is to encourage sharing and collaboration—talk with others and find new ways to repurpose murals for future events.

Walk Through-
There will be NO separate walk-through the morning of prom. You may join the general walk-through beforehand if you'd like an early preview.
Mural Retrieval – Sunday, May 31 at 9:00 AM (PHS East Cafeteria Lobby):
Arrive on time to walk through, measure needed sections, and coordinate with your group and others. Parking and entrance to the building by the bus dock lobby.
No children under 18. Bring tape measurer, exacto knives, scissors, step stools and any other items needed to remove possible items.
Bring a vehicle large enough to transport your items.
Please be respectful—everyone is going through the same process.
Cut and remove only what you need. If others are interested in the same mural or 3D piece, collaborate and consider sharing for events on different dates.
Remove and trash the tape on the walls behind the murals. (it helps with overall clean up)
Before leaving on May 31, fill out a short form listing any murals/items you took.

FAQs:
Q: What if multiple people want the same mural or 3D piece?
A: Work together to coordinate usage dates and share when possible.
Q: Why did the retrieval system change?
A: The previous system kept students and staff on-site too late, creating unsafe conditions. Additionally, some students who contributed to the murals missed the chance to collect their work.
