Art at the elementary level is taught on a five day rotation. Students learn about various master and contemporary artists along with the elements of art. They learn how to safely use a wide variety of art media while producing personal works of art.
Art at the middle school is taught as an elective for 6th-8th grades on an alternating day 90 day rotation.
ART 1- Clay, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Drawing
ART 2- Clay, Community/Collaboration, Drawing, 2-D Drawing
ART 3- Clay, Community/Collaboration, Drawing/Painting, Passion Project
Art courses, at the high school level, are offered as electives. Students may choose nine or eighteen week courses based on special interests. After completing introductory Art courses, students have the option of pursuing an Art major tract. Courses in 2D and 3D design are offered.
