In order to increase independence and organization, your child will copy homework in their Afton assignment book. Homework is typically assigned on Monday - Thursday nights in the subject areas of Reading and Math. Homework packets for the week are sent home on Monday and will be in your child's Red Take Home Folder. Math and Reading assignments are labeled with the day of the week they should be completed on. In addition to written assignments, your child should be reading or listening to a read aloud for at least 15 minutes each night.
