SPECIALS:

This year, we only have FOUR Special Area Teachers so we're on a rotation schedule that looks like this: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5-1, Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5-2... etc. Every 5th Day will be a Day 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, or a 5-4, so it's possible to have two of the same Specials in one week.

THURSDAY SCRIP SALES - in the ER Lobby from 8:20-8:50 a.m.

ARTWORK FOR THE ER LOBBY - Students are invited to create a masterpiece for ER to see. Send all creations to the Office!

MAP TESTING: MAP Math - in October and Feb MAP Reading - in October and Feb

Reading HW - Students are asked to read at least 15 minutes per night and complete one box in the Weekly Reading Log.

Reading Log . Logs will be handed out on Monday and collected the following Monday. See the "D-14 Filing Cabinet" for a copy of the Reading Log. Thank you for your help at home with this very important Home Education piece.

Goals - At the beginning of each week, every student writes an individual goal for the week. It could be a behavior goal, an academic goal, or a social goal. At the end of the week we complete a Reflection to see if we did/did not make our goal and we think about the next steps for the following week. At the end of each month, Weekly Goals are set home to parents for a signature and to discuss the student's progress.

Please collect Box Tops for Education! Each box top is worth $$ MONEY $$ for our school.

We also collect the tabs from soda cans. They are donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
