About Mrs. Caputo

I am a certified Special Education teacher with additional certifications in Mid-Level Mathematics (7-9) and French. I also completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. Through my Master's Degree in Education, I have learned to meet the needs of linguistically, culturally, and academically diverse learners. I have learned research-based practices to support reading, writing, listening, and speaking. My coursework has taught me how to help students comprehend complex texts and how to make connections between reading and writing, overusing informational/ expository tests and other genres. I have worked at Charles Boehm since the 2005-2006 school year as one of the Emotional Support / Learning Support teachers. Prior to that, I had been teaching since 1995 in an alternative school, as well as in the Bucks County Corrections system.

For the 2021-2022 school year, I am teaching Math Core 8, and I am co-teaching Math 8 with Miss Rube. In addition, I will be teaching Corrective Math to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

I currently live in Quakertown with my wonderful husband and my 3 beautiful girls- Tori (20), Alli (17), and Olivia (15).
