ALL STUDENTS HAVE SCHEDULED LIBRARY CLASS!
Kindergarten through Fifth grade have a 40-minute class each cycle.
During class time, students will engage in a set curriculum based upon the Pennsylvania Library Standards.
Curriculum topics range from developing listening skills, literature appreciation, research skills to general library skills.
In library class, students will be allowed to borrow materials from the library for one five day rotation. Students may renew their material if needed.
Students may borrow books during their library visit each cycle. The amount of materials to be borrowed depends upon the grade level of the student. It is Makefield Library Policy that students need to return or renew their materials the next time they visit the library. Students may return and borrow books in the morning at their teacher's discretion

EXCEPTIONS IN THESE LIMITS ARE ALLOWED FOR RESEARCH!
Students will receive a grade each semester.
Schoology is utilized for lessons and materials.
