A Glimpse Into Our World

Officer Yeager was named officer of the year in 2018 and is involved in various community programs, including the Youth Police Academy, overseeing the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program at local schools, and Program HERO. Officer Yeager has been partnering with Jamie Rivera, special education teacher, for over 6 years to present students with the opportunity to experience Program HERO. Program HERO invites students to hear the personal testimonies of guest speakers sharing a positive message about drug and alcohol prevention and ways to take control of our stories through responsible decision making skill development.
