Teacher Background Information:

Hello, my name is Jamie Rivera and I am a Special Education Teacher (Emotional Support) and IEP Case Manager at Pennsbury High School East. I am a graduate of Pennsbury School District and continued my education at Kutztown University where I studied Elementary Education & Early Childhood Development. I began my teaching career in the Philadelphia School District as a special education teacher, and received my master's degree from Arcadia University in Special Education (K-12). After four years of educating in Philadelphia, I decided I wanted to continue my career in a district that inspired me to become a teacher. With pleasure and great pride, I am entering my sixth year at Pennsbury High School- East Campus!

This school year, I will continue to lead by example with my students in demonstrating the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. I just completed my second mater's degree at Holy Family University in educational leadership and principal certification. I hope this experience will instill the values of personal growth in my students as we embrace the school year together. I'm looking forward to another memorable and successful year.
