Continue to practice on Khan Academy to prepare for the SAT
Take SAT and/or ACT spring of Junior year. Recommended two times during junior year.
Develop a list of potential colleges. Research admission requirements. Visit if possible.
Attend college visits at PHS. Attend PHS college fair and speak to admissions counselors.

Be aware of all deadlines
Complete your college applications at least 10 days before the deadline to ensure transcripts and letters arrive on time.
Request transcripts on Naviance (at least 10 days before the deadline).
Request teacher/counselor letters of letter of recommendations (at least 10 days before the deadline).
If possible students should have the goal of completing all college applications prior to Thanksgiving break.
October- April of Senior Year
Parents complete the FAFSA and CSS Profile (only certain schools require the CSS profile)

Check scholarship and college deadlines and complete applications.
