PCEF is dedicated to enhancing the academic, health and wellness, and extracurricular programs offered by the Pennridge School District to its students. With a strong coalition formed among local community leaders, business owners, parents and alumni, the foundation will provide resources that enrich teaching, inspire learning and encourage innovation. It doing so, PCEF will fill needs not completely met by the District's annual budget and contribute to its stated goal of creating lifelong learners.
Founded in 2008, PCEF exists to encourage excellence and provide educational enrichment opportunities that benefit students of the Pennridge School District and are consistent with the District's curriculum and strategic plan. As an independent 501(c)(3) community organization, we are governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors that works in partnership with the School board, Administration, faculty, staff abnd students. We welcome the involvement of all District residents.
PCEF seeks to facilitate unique, creative and challenging learning opportunities for Pennridge School District students, primarily through our Classroom Innovation Grant program. We engage local businesses, alumni, members of our community, government and other foundations in our mission to build a stronger, more well-prepared student population.
PCEF raises funds through a variety of opportunities, including business tax credits, individual donations and special events, such as "A Lovely Evening."
