Mystery Number Lesson- All Grade Levels- Partner with another teacher. Have one teacher/class pick a number and the other class has to guess it. They should use questions like "Is it Even/Odd? Is there a 4 in the tens place? Is it greater than 50? Is it a multiple of 5?" These questions can be for any grade level. Students can use their number grid to cross-off numbers as clues are given, or teacher can use a class number grid to keep track! (See Pica, Ferme, Nada below)

Review Games- All Grade Levels- You can easily use the Present Screen feature of Skype for Business to load a game board such as Jeopardy or Kahoot in 2 different classrooms. Then both classrooms can play against each other all while reviewing the curriculum skills.

Interview- All Grade Levels- Have your student interview another staff member in the building. They should develop questions ahead of time. The questions can tie into your curriculum.

Pica, Ferme, Nada (Math Place Value Game) All Grade Levels- Have one person/classroom choose a number based on grade level curriculum. The other classroom will ask questions such as "Is there a 5 in the hundreds"? The opposing classrom will use these words to describe:

Pica- number and place value are correct

Ferme- number is correct, but wrong place value

Nada- number and place value are NOT correct

Suggestions- students working on 100s grid; place value models posted in room; teacher guidance for questioning techniques ahead of time
