Hello! My name is Mrs. Rachel Michaels. I have had many years of experience in the primary grades. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 1st grade. It has been such a pleasure working in such a wonderful community. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. I received my Masters of Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to read about our classroom here at Pennoyer School. For those who are new to our school community, I would like to extend a special welcome. The year will be filled with many challenges, for you as parents, for me as a teacher, and for the students. It is my philosophy that we all will be working together as partners in the education of our children.
