Welcome to Mrs. Garcia's homepage for Middle School Mathematics 2026-2027. I am very excited to be the 5th grade math, science, and social studies teacher. I am looking forward to working with all of the students this year.
This begins my 1st year as a fifith grade teacher, and previous to this, I taught 4th grade here at Pennoyer School for 13 years and Middle School for 12 years. I truly enjoy being a part of the Pennoyer community. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago and a Master's degree in Teaching Elementary School Mathematics and recently earned an Elementary Mathematics Specialist endorsement from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
