CAMP CHIMAQUA

Gretna Glen Camp & Retreat Center, Lebanon
Camp Chimaqua is an overnight weekend camp for grieving children (ages 6-12). Through group and individual activities, children learn to express their feelings and share memories of their loved ones. A trained adult buddy is paired with each child for companionship, support and supervision throughout the weekend.
Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children meet with a counselor to determine if camp will best meet their needs. Thanks to the community, registration is only $25 per child, and financial assistance is available. For more information or to request an application, call the Pathways Center at (717) 391-2413. Applications must be received by April 19.

Wellspan Groups
With the holidays coming up, some students and families could use extra support. Wellspan has two different after-school programs to help further support students that may be having difficulty with following directions, social skills, impulse control, and emotional regulation.
Making a referral to Wellspan's ABA social skills group or Wellspan's clinical therapeutic program can easily be done by either emailing ekilleen@wellspan.org or by calling 717-676-7641.

"A Moment to Breathe" Parent Group
Touchstone Foundation, together with Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County, announces the start of a new resource for parents in Lancaster County.
This parent group provides an opportunity for parents to discuss mental health for themselves and their families, in a supportive, judgment-free, family-friendly space. Facilitated by Touchstone Foundation staff and local mental health experts, “A Moment to Breathe” is free for everyone and includes on-site childcare, a light meal, and bus pass/gas card.
