Greetings!

I am really looking forward to getting to know you! For now, here is a little bit about me.

My husband, Peter and I live in Millersville. We have two grown daughters, Olivia, who lives in Washington, D.C., and Julia, who lives locally. We also have a very spoiled dog named Sawyer and an equally spoiled cat named Lucy.

I am in my 33rd year of teaching 4th grade at Hambright. Some people say, "Aren't you bored teaching the same grade level for so many years?" My response, "Every year there is something new - new students, new colleagues, new academic programs, new technology...how can I be bored?!" My motto is, "There is always something new to learn, so never stop learning!"

In addition to teaching and being a mom, I enjoy reading, jogging, and looking for antiques. My favorite place to be besides home is the beach. I'm looking forward to an awesome year!
