Poinsettias were raised in our greenhouse and will be available for sale as well.
The best way to order is through a Manor FFA member so, the member gets the credit for the sale. If you do not know a member currently, you can order via our website.
FFA members when selling should collect money from their customers. The member will then hand in the money on November 9th.
If you are ordering online and do not know a current FFA member, please bring money to the pick-up on December 14th.
Fruit pickup will be on December 12th, contact the member you purchased from to arrange a time for them to drop off your order.
Members of the Manor FFA have the opportunity to grow themselves as leaders in their homes and communities. We take trips to leadership conferences across the state of Pennsylvania and have students compete in career development events throughout the year. We also host many social experiences for members to connect and get to know and learn from each other.
We award students for selling items from the fruit sale. We total these into units.
A unit is ONE item from the sale.
Examples of units:
1/4 case of Grapefruit
1/2 case of apples
1 whole case of apples
1 8" pie
1 pack of pork sticks (12 sticks per pack)
1 fruit basket or box
1 syrup
1 pineapple OR the 6 case of pineapple
We are asking all members to sell 10 units of fruit to be eligible for FFA. FFA eligibility allows students to participate in things on the chapter, county, state, and national levels. All eligible students will go to the Farm Show trip in the spring, receive a banquet ticket, and receive a Manor FFA t-shirt.
