Penn Manor Databases - These databases are subscribed to by Penn Manor School District, IU 13, or provided by the public library. When at school, you have access to these databases; however, at home you will need a user name and password. User names and passwords can be obtained in the high school library for most databases.
Gale Literature is a search tool that combines various literary and historical resources including Lit. Finder, Literature Criticism Online, and Literature Resource Center into one search engine. These resources are best for literary research but can be very useful for primary sources for history projects.
To access Power Library, click on the image and then browse the provided databases for content. Power Library contains multiple databases on different topics. Power Search is a good place to start if you are not sure where to start. You will need a public library card to access at home, or you can sign up for an e-library card on the Power Library site.
An open access (OA) journal is a journal whose content can be accessed without payment. This provides scholars, students, and researchers with free journal articles. OA journals use alternate methods of funding to cover publication costs so that articles can be published without having to pass those publication costs on to the reader.
