The Penn Manor High School Art Department serves approximately 670 students each year, offering a diverse range of classes including photography, ceramics, drawing and painting, and creative publishing. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in the visual arts, emphasizing production, historical and cultural contexts, critical response, and aesthetic response. Arts education is a critical component of our school-wide curriculum, challenging students to think critically and make informed decisions. Studies consistently show that involvement in the arts boosts performance in other core academic areas.
