About Me
I am married and have one daughter and two step-sons. I began teaching in Texas over 30 years ago. After teaching in Central Oregon for 15 years (eight years on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation), I was ready for an adventure! Luckily, my family was ready for one, too! I taught 1st grade ESL for four years in Germany and 3rd-5th ESL in Brazil for two years. I am currently starting my 10th year teaching for the Pendleton School District and still LOVE it! My husband retired from working as a flight attendant during Covid and is now the head girls soccer coach at Pendleton High School.
I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, growing and foraging herbs, and making herbal remedies. My family is very important to me and, during the summer, I try to visit family all over the United States (Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, California, Washington, and Texas). This last summer, we went on an Alaskan cruise with friends from Germany!!
