Classroom Overview
"STRENGTH lies in differences, NOT in SIMILARITIES." - Stephen Covey. In Room 200 we celebrate diversity. It is a fun and safe place to question and explore! We learn from the unique backgrounds and experiences of our classmates. We understand the differences between equity and equality.
Meet Your Teacher!
Who Am I? I have been teaching middle school for 14 years and I LOVE IT! Prior to 6th grade I taught math at Blue Mountain Community College. Teaching is quite literally in my blood! Both my parents are retired teachers, and I am married to a teacher! I have a daughter (age 23) and a son (age 20) that have helped me learn how to connect to my middle school students. You have most likely seen me on the riverwalk with my 17 pound mini Goldendoodle, Chuck!
Challenge: The first 5 students that can tell me what country my last name comes from will get a prize! Your only hint is the image to the right! NO CHEATING!
