It takes an incredible amount of work and coordination to pull off the Alumni events throughout the year, and it is all done through the commitment of countless volunteers who give their time in both big and small ways.
Each Pendleton FFA Alumni and Friends member is asked to sign up for at least one volunteer commitment for the year. As individuals who support FFA and AG Education in our schools, this is the best way we can support our students and teachers.
Volunteer Opportunities include:
Managing social media platforms
Selling sponsorships for Alumni Auction
Keeping an eye on the PHS FFA Land Lab, managing farm equipment and overseeing work day activities
Coordinating appreciation gifts and merchandise
Join our Scholarship Committee. The scholarship committee is responsible for overseeing the fair and effective selection, awarding, and management of scholarships
Decorating the barns for Milton-Freewater Junior Show, Umatilla County Fair and Pendleton Junior Livestock Show & Sale
Coordinating donations for the silent auction
Helping students write thank you note to their buyers
Coordinating spirit nights at local restaurants
participating in State Degree presentations
Assisting with CDE and SAE events, projects, and contests
