Julian B. : Team Captain

Julian is full of joy, jokes, and talent. Along with Leo, Julian has the talent to blow peoples minds by solving Rubik's cubes in seconds. Julian has a deep obsession with instruments and is part of marching band. That is why he enjoys going to Penderlea Middle school to help out kids in band. Because of his love for science and computers Julian hopes to one day become an engineer.

Design Captain: Alex R.

Alex loves coming up with new and crazy designs (hence why she is design captain). One day she hopes to become a civil or technical engineer.

Build: Jacob R.

Jacob likes to hang out with friends when he isn't playing his euphonium, cleaning up the elderly's yards, or in chorus. Jacob has many deep obsessions; some include Harry Potter and soldering. He hopes to one day become a homicide detective in order to stop criminals and bring some peace to the world.

Build: Casen E.

Casen is very smart and helps with everything that we do. He participated in Seaperch and helps build the robot. Not only is he in robotics, but he also helps with the Pender Early College Science Olympiad Team. Casen hopes to one day become the best engineer ever known. His main goal in life is to know he has made his mom proud.

Patricia R. : Design

Patricia is one of our seniors who truly loves school. When she graduates high school she plans to graduate with an associates in Arts from Cape Fear Community College. After she graduates she hopes to enlist in the United States Air Force where she then would like to choose a career in either law enforcement or history education. During her free time she enjoys volunteering at the animal shelter. She also enjoys tutoring at schools because she loves to see younger students engage in their education. She likes being in robotics because she gets to meet new people who have different interest and likes the idea of being in a team that can build a functional robot.

Programming: Millie V.

Millie loves to volunteer at the library throughout the week. She is a good, kind-hearted being. Not only is she a good person, but she is also an amazing public speaker. She does an amazing job at everything she does.

Noah H. : Programming

Noah is a lover of science, reading, and everything computers. He is currently working on programming, and is very skilled at it. He enjoy's playing with robots, and wants to expand his knowledge of robots. His goal is to one day go to MIT.

James C. : Marketing Captain

James is a junior at Pender Early College, but almost everybody thinks that he is a freshman, even the sophomores that went to school with him since 5th grade. He is fairly new at FIRST, but caught on very quickly. He also makes up "new" names for everybody.

Tyshawn N.:

Tyshawn Nixon is a Junior at Pender Early College High School. He is a lover of science, more notably physics, robotics, computer science and also loves to edit videos. He plans to work on programing and build in robotics. He would like to attend NC State University to major in Computer Engineering and to minor in robotics.
