The EV Challenge
The EV Challenge is an annual event where multiple high schools with EV programs meet and compete to put their vehicle conversions to the test. It involves many different vehicle classes such as truck/car, modification, or STEMcycle and features competitive events such as autocross, troubleshooting, and range. It is a chance for students to experience something completely unique and enriching that they would otherwise most likely not experience in a typical classroom setting.
The newest event at the EV Challenge is the STEMcycle, where students build their own electric vehicle from the ground up. STEMcycles exemplify the spirit of engineering and innovation that is necessary to succeed in the EV Challenge.
