Meet the Librarian
Meet the Librarian
Ms. Alvin is originally from Hampstead, North Carolina and graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education. Ms.Alvin taught in the High School English classroom for 7 years before transitioning into the role of Media Coordinator. Ms. Alvin believes that there's a book/author for every student, and she loves helping them find the "perfect match."
Ms. Alvin's favorite author at the moment is Jason Reynolds. Lately, Ms. Alvin has developed a strong liking for the thriller/mystery genre, but she keeps a YA romance on standby for when she needs something more lighthearted to read. When she's not reading, Ms. Alvin enjoys watching reality TV with her husband, playing the piano, and crafting!
