ATTENTION PARENTS
We are in need of PBIS donations for our school wide program. Those individuals that wish to donate to the school wide program can do so by clicking this PBIS link. We are also in need of volunteers to assist with PBIS related activities. Students will have an Early Release Day on Wednesday, May 3rd.
EOG Testing Dates:
Math: Tuesday, May 16, 2023
Reading: Thursday, May 18, 2023
Science: Tuesday, May 23, 2023
Chromebook Turn-in: Chromebooks will be turned in following the science EOG. Students will need to ensure that they have both their chromebook, and charger for turn-in. Parents should double check to make sure that their student has not lost, or damaged their charger or chromebook.
Awards Ceremony: The 5th grade end of year awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2023, at 8:00 am. The ceremony is currently planned to be held in the TMS auxiliary gymnasium.
Celebratory Donations
We are thankful for those parents that have already committed to donating supplies for this year's celebration. The signup form may have caused confusion for some as to the requested dates for volunteer signup and donations for the celebration. The following dates are the requested deadlines:

This year we will be having the parents plan and coordinate the majority of this year's end of year celebration. We have a team of parents that have been kind enough to volunteer their time in coordinating the celebration. We ask that parents that wish to volunteer time, donate resources, chaperone, assist with setup and cleanup, or suggestions as to what you would like to see at the celebration, contact our parent coordinator via the email listed above.
A signup genius will be posted in the coming days to better streamline the process.
Thank you to all of the parents that have already made donations to the 5th Grade PBIS Cart. The success of our PBIS system relies on both reward and intervention. With your continued support and generous donations, we hope to provide meaningful rewards to all students of the 5th Grade that demonstrate good behavior.
Thank you for all of your support this year. At this time, we are no longer seeking items from our Amazon Wishlist for the rest of the year. All of your support has made this year a positive in supporting good behavior.
This year, the Guidance Counselors have instituted a new procedure to request an appointment to speak with a counselor. The guidance counselors are always available to speak with a student experiencing a crisis or emergency. However, due to the increasing student body, the counselors have asked that students with non-emergency issues (can wait 1 to 2 days for an appointment), complete a referral form for an appointment. Students will be scheduled based upon the information that is submitted on the form. This process will ensure that, when the counselor does speak with the student, the counselor will have sufficient time to listen to, and address student concerns. Parents are encouraged to support their student by submitting a referral for issues that they feel might impact their social and emotional wellbeing. These issues can range from things that their student has expressed as
