A Word on Dismissals
The following procedure should be followed if a student is ill and feels they may need to go home.
Student should go to nurse's office.
Nurse will assess the student taking a detailed history from the student.
If it is determined that the student needs to go home or more insight is needed to care for the student, the nurse will call the parent/guardian. Students must follow the use of cell phone policy at TCS.
If it is determined that the student is well enough to stay, they will stay. If it is determined they will go home, the front office will be notified and the student will be picked up by a varified person on their contact list.
