A Q & A with Mrs. Blakeley

Background on Mrs.Blakeley: She worked as a student teacher with Mr. Murray during the 2019-20 school year. Since then, she has spent the last two school years teaching Chemistry at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School. She possesses a Bachelor of Science (Human Development) from The University of Alabama and completed her Teacher Certificate Program at Bridgewater State University . She is currently working towards her Master of Education (Curriculum and Teaching) from Fitchburg State University.
Why did you choose to come to Pembroke?
-Mrs.Blakeley: It's closer to my home and I also grew up in the area and missed being in this area.
Why did you choose chemistry out of all the other subjects?
-Mrs.Blakeley: Taught bio and chem but what I love about chem is how it's like a giant puzzle and also love the chem labs and thinks its a lot of fun growing bench skills.
How are you liking PHS so far?
-Mrs.Blakeley: I love it so far and I think all the students are wonderful.
Are you excited for any upcoming events at PHS?
-Mrs.Blakeley: Can't wait for spirit week. I'm very excited to dress up and participate in the fun activities the school holds.
Any exciting plans for class that kids can look forward to in the upcoming months?
-Mrs.Blakeley: Look forward to a lab with fire and gas.
