Tutorial for PPS Staff Chromebooks and the new HDMI wall mounted projectors so that you can get the most of the materials we have on hand.
In collaboration with Dana Anderson and Meg O'Neill of Valo, Pembroke Public Schools invite you to join them in a 10 PDP offering focused on educator happiness and well-being. The attached flyer outlines their workshop, dates, and meeting times. All meetings will be virtual.
To run the workshop, we need a commitment from participants. If you are interested in joining, RSVP to Marybeth Brust by Friday, April 9th.

Workshop Title: Supporting and Educating the Traumatized Student
Facilitators: Saviz Safizadeh, Rachel Kirtley, Jess Lazarus, PHS
PDPs: 10
This workshop will utilize the book, Educating the Traumatized Student by Eric Rossen and Robert Hull, to identify strategies for teaching traumatized students. In collaboration with our colleagues, we will seek to develop a framework of best practices. This workshop will focus on strategies that can be utilized in the classroom with all students.
*The district will provide the books for all who enroll.
Meeting Details:
All meetings will take place on Wednesdays virtually via Google Meet from 6-7:30 PM: March 24, March 31, April 7, April 14, & April 28.
The final 2.5 hours will be individual reflective work dedicated to creating a curriculum map for integrating the strategies and techniques learned in the workshop
