Degree Partners is a college support nonprofit that helps you earn your degree from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). SNHU is regionally accredited, which is the highest standard of accreditation in the U.S. and ensures your degree is fully recognized by employers and other universities. You’ll be officially enrolled at SNHU, which offers flexible, competency-based online programs you can complete at your own pace. Degree Partners will be by your side every step of the way, providing one-on-one coaching, advising, and wrap-around support so you don’t have to navigate college alone.

Yes! SNHU accepts up to 45 credits for an associate's degree and 90 credits for a bachelor’s degree, as long as the classes were college-level and earned a C or better.

If you're not interested in any of the Bachelor's Degrees offered through our partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, no problem! We can still support you as you earn your Associate's Degree in General Studies and help you transfer to another program to pursue the Bachelor's Degree of your choice.

At Degree Partners, you’re backed by a whole team that provides academic, emotional, and logistical support from day one. We help you master your projects, keep momentum when life gets tough, and navigate the practical details like scheduling, financial aid, and technology. Furthermore, on a case by case basis, we offer emergency grants to ensure life doesn't get in the way of you completing your degree.

Most students use a mix of financial aid, employer tuition reimbursement, or self-pay to cover tuition ($6,713 / year) . We’ll walk you through your options and help you create a plan that fits your situation.

• Options include:

  • FAFSA (Pell Grant) – Federal aid for eligible students

  • Segal Education Award – For those who’ve completed national service programs like AmeriCorps

  • Employer Tuition Reimbursement – Many workplaces help cover education costs

  • Scholarships – We can help you find and apply for additional funding

  • Self-Pay – Some students pay out of pocket, either partially or in full. SNHU offers a monthly payment plan if you’re paying on your own.

  • Student Loans – While loans aren’t the best fit for everyone, they can be a good investment for some students—especially if completing your degree will lead to a higher salary or new career opportunities. We’ll help you weigh the pros and cons so you can make an informed decision.

55% of our current enrolled students are paying for their whole tuition with a Pell Grant (grants are Federal Funding you don't have to pay back) and only 5% of our current enrolled students are taking out loans to pay for tuition. Before you decide to enroll, you’ll know exactly what your funding situation looks like so you can make a clear, confident choice about moving forward.

Our team will guide you through every step to ensure you understand all of your options.

Your citizenship status does not impact your ability to enroll and attend our program.

While some federal financial aid options (like the Pell Grant) are limited to U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens, there are still many ways to help pay for your education. We’ll help you explore:

• Private scholarships (including scholarships specifically for undocumented and DACA students)

  • One example is Dreamers Road Map, a free mobile app that helps undocumented students find scholarships.

• Employer tuition assistance

• Payment plans

If you’re unsure where to start, we’ll walk through your options together to build a plan that fits your situation. We welcome all learners no matter their citizenship status!

Since SNHU's classes are all competency-based, meaning YOU get to pick when you want to work on school around your own life/schedule, it's easier to make this program work than if you had to attend class every week at a certain time. 

We recommend to plan for at least 10-12 hrs per week to fit in school work, but those hours can happen whenever works best for you. Here's a Weekly Time Management Worksheet you can review and use to see how you can fit school in alongside your current schedule!
