Below, you will find pictures for each center. Please contact us if you have further questions.
All classrooms will be re-arranged to fit the center's needs. The pictures show the performance area.
We will not post a map of the interior of our school on the website, but you will receive a map when you arrive and we will have excellent signage.
Center 1: Choral Reading and One Act Play (Auditorium)
Our stage is very large, but oddly shaped (see pictures). The house curtain lines the edge of the stage when closed, and slowly opens and closes electronically. See Parking and Directions for suggestions of where to load and unload set pieces or props.
For One-Act performances, lighting available will involve lights up/down, and we will also provide the capability for Stage Left, Stage Right, and Stage Center lights up/down. Keep in mind that these are general areas of lighting.
To run music or sound effects from the booth, please bring something that an aux cable can plug in to (phone, computer, iPad, etc.). While we do have the capability to run sound from a CD or a flash drive, our technology is not as reliable or fool-proof as your device will be, plugged in to the aux cable. Please remember that you are allowed to have a sound and lighting check in the set-up time for your performance.
Electrical power through extension cords will be available from the back of the stage and from the outlets in front of the stage.
We will have two students working in the booth throughout the day. These students have been well-trained on our equipment and are expected to be the ones who touch the light/sound board. Please be respectful of these students in the booth and listen to their instructions!
Please contact the contest managers if you have questions about the set up for One-Act.
