5th Grade Band

2025-2026 Events

Friday August 29, 2025 - 5th Grade Preview @ High School Stadium, 8:25 AM

All of the 5th grade classes will walk over to the stadium to watch the High School Marching Band perform. HS band students will also show off the different instruments in the band and inspire 5th graders to consider which instrument they find appealing.

Monday September 1 - September 5, 2025 - 5th Grade Instrument Testing

The second full week of school we will be conducting our instrument testing process in which 5th Grade students will get the chance to try out their top instrument choices. We will guide them towards finding an instrument that is right for them!

Thursday September 18, 2025 - Instrument Display Night @ 5th-8th Band Room, 7:00 PM

This night is set up for the convenience of parents/guardians to acquire their child’s instrument and all the materials needed for class. Displays will be provided by music vendors local to central Iowa.

Monday October 6th, 2025 - First Day of Band!

Thursday May 14th, 2026 - 5th Grade Band Tour @ Lincoln & Madison Elementary

Thursday May 14th, 2026 - 5th Grade Band Concert @ Pella High School Auditorium, 6:00 PM
