Now that I have dealt with that scourge of bandits, I can finally continue with my house. It was a lot of money and work put into the house. I don't know why the bandits didn't just come for it when it was finished. Guess they just wanted a pet. They now have one in oblivion, and their names are the Daedric Princes.
But anyways, I have built my house, with no furniture in it though. I have to figure that part out. I have spent most of my septims on the house's supplies. But I do have some spare change from those bandits' pockets. I will have to get myself a steward. But who would help me out? I have no friends or family to ask from.
So I went on an adventure to find myself a steward. I helped everyone from Solitude to Riften. From the richest to the poorest. Not many wanted to help. But I then found an elf. He goes by the name of Faendal, he is an archer/hunter, I have found myself a steward (I asked him and he did accept). But now I am just a cat with an elf. The even weirder part is that we are both male (I am not homophobic, I just don't want to be that awkward situation where two guys are in a house and one works for the other).
Now I have a house with no furniture, and I am with a random elf I helped with his love life, but then took him several miles away from to live and work for me. Totally not anything going on here. No need to think that. So now I have to find a woman who I must know inside and out, as they know me inside and out. Eugh. Just the thought of explaining this when people ask how we met.
About several weeks to eventually months go by and I get the house fully furnished. And now, I have a girlfriend, Ysolda, A Woman Imperial, who loves Khajiit, Wrow. Deal! I have a relationship with her and want to marry her, and I then realised, I have no clue how to get married in Skyrim. So I asked so many people and they looked at me like I have 11 tails (I can't say 2 through 10 tails, because there are beasts with that many tails. Look it up).
I eventually got to Riften and I went to The Bee and Barb. Sounds similar to the phrase The Bee and Bird. So someone there should help me. I entered and a priest and some argonians are arguing about the place. First of all, It was an Inn, so I am already in trouble. Second, There is a female AND male argonian. So it may get awkward and misleading asking about marriage. Third of all, there is a priest, I don't know if they are a priest of love, but better off asking him than the argonians. I wait for their argument to be over, I don't want to be rude. Plus I want to see where this goes.
Their argument goes nowhere. But the priest is now free for conversation. I walk up to him and he says something to me about Mara. I've heard of this person, I believe they are one of the eight - or nine, currently being argued about - divines of Skyrim. I ask more about this Mara, he then explains that SHE is the GODDESS of LOVE and COMPASSION! I have found my guy to ask. So I ask how to get married, he then explains I must have a good relationship with someone and need an Amulet of Mara to symbolise that I can get married. But I don't have an Amulet of Mara.
The priest then asks if I want an amulet to buy. Of course I do, but how much is it going to cost me? And he offered the Amulet, for 200 Septims! I have that amount of cash, but that is the price of 20 logs for a Homestead! I mean, If I can afford logs, I can surely afford an amulet. I buy it and thank god it wasn't a scam. I got the amulet and put it on. About seven people look over in attraction. I hid it under my armor so I don't attract any unwanted romancers.
So I get on the carriage and ride to my home. I make sure the Amulet is visible for Ysolda, my lover. She sees it and she gets very interested. I ask if she wanted to get married.
