Tracy Hussey, First Grade

      My name is Tracy Hussey and I am a first grade teacher here at Pelham Elementary. This will be my 19th year teaching but my 11th year at PES. I have taught at PES for 8 years teaching third grade, 2 years teaching Special Education and this will be my first year teaching first grade at Pelham.

On a personal note: I graduated college in 2001 with an Associate’s degree in Travel and Tourism. I then decided I wanted to explore my love and passion for teaching. I attended Southern New Hampshire University and graduated in 2006 with a dual degree in Elementary and General Special Education. I started my teaching career in 2006 teaching FIRST GRADE. I also have experience teaching preschool, title 1, and special education. During the summer months, I teach Title 1 right here at PES.

I have an extensive coaching background! I worked for Salem High School from 2001-2014. Also, I have worked at East Celebrity Elite (an All-Star Gym)as a cheer coach for the past 19 years. I have a 13 year old daughter named Ella who is in entering 8th grade in the fall, and a boxer named, Kona! This year I celebrated my 14th year being married to my wonderful husband named Justin. We reside in Derry, but I grew up in Salem, NH.  I enjoy being active, going to the beach, the lake, being outdoors, coaching, going to theme parks, traveling, watching movies, attending sporting events (HUGE CELTICS FAN), and just spending time together as a family. 

I am very fortunate to be working at Pelham Elementary School and I'm looking forward to a year filled with lots of learning, laughter and fun! I am so happy to be your child's teacher and can't wait to work with you all this school year.
