The Pelham High School LARP Club was founded in the spring of 2017 and is currently in the process of gearing up for its first year. We celebrated our first Renaissance Faire this fall on September 16 at Pelham High.

Ophion was the name of a titan in Greek Mythology and his symbol was the snake. In some versions of Greek mythology, Ophion^[^{pronunciation?}^] (Ὀφίων "serpent"; gen.: Ὀφίωνος), also called Ophioneus (Ὀφιονεύς) ruled the world with Eurynome before the two of them were cast down by Cronus and Rhea (Wikipedia).

The two people running the club - Robert Nolan and Deborah Jarvis - have been members of the LARP group Realms off and on for around the last 20 years.
