Hello, my name is Joseph Harris. I will be your fifth-grade teacher next school year. We will be in Room 402 which is in the east wing upstairs. I hope you are looking forward to next year just as much as I am. We have a lot of cool activities and events to look forward to throughout the year. Fifth grade will be here before you know it, it will be full of fun challenges, and opportunities for you to grow as a person and a learner. We have a lot to accomplish this year. I hope all students come in everyday ready to learn and have a positive attitude. Before we head into next year, I want you to take some time to relax, have fun, and enjoy your summer.
This will be my 13th year at Pelham Elementary School. This will be my 12th year as a 5th-grade teacher. I graduated from Rivier University in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also recieved my master degree in 2023 in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern New Hampshire.
In my free time I spend a lot of time with my wife Erin and my son Griffin who turned 3 in April and my daughter who is a year and a half old. I am also a pretty active person as well. I play men's softball in Pelham during the week and I play a lot of golf on the weekends. I also enjoy playing card games with my friends and family.
I love teaching and watching students grow in all subject areas. I hope you are excited about this upcoming school year. It will bring new challenges and lots of fun. I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know each other more as we start the school year. I can't wait to hear your summer stories when we get back to school!
