From over 7 years of experience in the food service and hospitality profession, Mr. Arceo is able to bring a real life element to learning in the classroom. He was born into the industry since the very beginning. From both sides of his family, he was constantly surrounded in the restaurant industry, becoming completely exposed to it. Being so, he was raised in a world where restaurant operations was all he knew, which resulted in him operating every position in the front and the back of the house, ultimately in time, becoming the general manager of his family owned business. In addition to this, he has worked under a few well known chefs in the Birmingham area, including: Chef Brandon Cain of Roots and Revelry & Chef Krystal Bryant of K & J's Elegant Pastries. He will express the good, bad, and ugly of the industry as well as the very rewarding parts as he and his students explore every aspect in the classroom and the culinary lab to allow an in depth and real-world experience for all students.
