Conversational Malay Language Programme

The Basic Conversational Malay Language (CML) Programme will enables pupils to acquire basic conversational Malay Language. Lessons are conducted by trained instructors engaged by the school. English is used as a medium of teaching to maximise pupils’ learning capabilities. All lessons will be informal with NO examination or assessment. As part of the lessons, pupils may be asked to perform task-based activities, for example, to communicate using the Malay Language in situations which they may encounter in the real world.

Objective of Programme

To enable pupils to communicate (listen and speak) on everyday situations in the language

No. of Lessons: 5

No. of pupils: 20 – 35 pupils

Schedule: Every Tuesday 1.40 pm to 3.30 pm

*Wednesday 1.10 pm to 3.00 pm

Dates: Primary 3: 27 June, 4 July, 11 July, 25 July, 1 Aug 2017

Primary 4: 4 July, 11 July, 25 July, 1 Aug, 2 Aug* 2017

With reference to PN 18 (dated 20 April 2017), interested pupils would have registered for the CML enrichment programme. Please note that pupils who have registered, have been accepted and a confirmation email will be sent to the parent’s email address.
