Enrichment Programme

The school has conceptualised enrichment programmes for students who are managing well in their subjects and not required to stay back for Remedial Programme. This allows the students to explore their interest and learn new skills and competencies.

Enrichment Programme are modular and are on an opt-in basis. The focus of these modular enrichment programmes expose students to learning beyond grades and examinations. For Term 3, the school enrichment programmes are:

• Robotics for P5 only
• Hands-on Science for P3 to P5
• Oratorical Training through Drama (English Language) for P3 only
• Oratorical Training through Drama (Chinese Language) for P4 only
• Theatre Experiences for P3 and P4 only
• FUNmatics for P4 only
• Conversational Malay Language Programme

PCPS has a large population of students and we would like to cater to all their interests. However, we are also limited by resources.

Pupils who are interested should be committed and not be involved in other school activities during the same time period. If your child/ward is selected for Remedial Programme, they will have to give up their place in the enrichment as priority is given to Remedial Programme to close learning gaps.

Registration is on first come first basis and some of the modules require fees. Registration begin on 12 May 2017, 12.00 p.m. and closes on 19 May 2017, 12.00 p.m. or when the class is fully subscribed, whichever comes first. All registration must be made strictly via the online system. If your child/ward is successfully registered for the module, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
