Who is your favorite Bible character (other than Jesus) and why?
Joseph, because he's the best example that even when everything seems like it's not going your way, your faith in God will always save you. Joseph is also an example because God shows His love for anyone, regardless of age. Hence, he is a great inspiration for someone like me.
My character favorite is Esther because she walked wisely in all that she did. Esther was able to save a whole nation by the grace of God along with the help of her uncle and mentor.

The song Emmanuel by Solly Mahlangu is one of my favorites!

What is a memory verse that you really love and why?
John 15:13 significantly challenges me to sacrifice for and love others, no matter what they have done to me. It also assures me of how much I am loved. Every time I feel like giving up on life, this verse shows me how much I am so loved by God.
Romans 5:5 helps me build and grow in my faith in Christ regardless of all day-to-day encounters.

Dr. Myles Munore's sermons and books on purpose have encouraged me and made me grow more in Christ. It reaffirms that I have a purpose on this Earth.

”The greatest glory in living lies not in falling, but in rising everytime we fall.” -Nelson Mandela.
Bob Pierce, the founder of World Vision and Samaritan's Purse, is known for praying, "Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God".
If you could meet a leader from history who would it be and why?
Martin Luther King Jr., because he was an inspiration to many people, not only in the US. He advocated for peace and equality for people of colour, and his great works against discrimination and segregation have helped change today's perception of racism worldwide.
If you have a nickname is there a story about how you got that name?
Mandela is a name given to me by my grandmother. I was a twin and my brother and I were born prematurely. At first, the doctor only saw my brother because I was so tiny. The doctor told my family to keep the room very hot to create the feeling of an incubator. (Sadly my brother passed on and left me behind). My family would heat the room with a stove and my grandmother said the hot room felt like a prison sentence. That's why she would call me Mandela! I like the name. It's not the formal name that I use on my papers, but as I grew up my peers and my relatives know me by that name. I hope this will inspire someone out there. God knew me from my mother's womb. He destined me for greatness. I believe He has a purpose for me and I need to fulfill that purpose.
