Welcome to our Second Grade 

Learning Community!

• I am honored to be your child's teacher this year as we embark on this educational journey together.  I look forward to working as a team and have confidence that we can accomplish anything as we become trailblazers in our learning adventure!

The goals and themes in 2P are:

• We will use growth mindset principles such as: flexibility, persistence and creative solutions for problem solving.

• We will build our classroom community and foster connections that will facilitate kindness, support and an environment where every child feels encouraged to do their very best.

• We will grow as learners and strengthen our reading, language and math skills through practice and self-awareness.  

• We will seek joy in being together as a group of enthusiastic learners.

• We are planting the seeds of the future this year and we will use any challenges as an example of how to achieve success in any circumstances.  By creating a positive, proactive learning community my students will feel empowered to grow and thrive.
