Class overview
Welcome to eighth grade English and Pearl River High School! This course emphasizes reading and literary analysis, narrative and expository writing, the delivery of oral presentations, and practicing research skills through individual and cooperative work. This is a year like no other; we will have new challenges, but we will do it together. Please reach out the moment you have a question or just feel unsure about something. Email is the quickest way to get in touch with me, but I am also happy to jump on a call to talk the situation out as well. #PRStrong
About me
This is my 17th year teaching and my 8th year at Pearl River High School. I taught in many places across America, but find something very special about the people in Pearl River. I love teaching in such a close knit and supportive community, and I look forward to getting to know my new 8th grade students!
