Chloe's family are the owners of Pizza Campania, the Backcountry Burger Bar, and The Mint in Belgrade. She is 17 years old and born in Billings, Montana. She is graduating from Bozeman High School this year and taking a gap year to learn Spanish in Guatemala before going to university. Chloe helps out at Peak Potential Academy as a teacher's aide and sincerely enjoys working with their students.
Scott Frazier is a Crow elder/ Santee Native American. He makes Native style dolls due to an accident while working in the oil industry. He also worked with Rab Cummings teaching about water. Scott went to boarding school when he was 13. He now is a teacher for environmental aid, and has a master degree in communication.
Jessie is a Southwest Manager at The Montana Land Reliance. Originally from rural North Dakota, Jessie has spent the last 20 years in the nonprofit and science field in Montana. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Biology from Montana State University with an emphasis on soil science and plant ecology. Prior to MLR Jessie led the Big Sky Institute and was the Executive Director of the Big Sky Community Organization. Jessie is thrilled to be working with MLR in Southwest Montana to assist private landowners with achieving their conservation goals.
Heather loves outdoors and has been living in Bozeman for 12 years but has been living in the Greater Yellowstone area for 15 years including Wyoming. In the past Heather has worked with nonprofit organizations, but now is a mother of 4, raising them for her new job.
Mike is a local business owner and he's lived here his whole life. He is a hunter and an avid recreationist. He is also the founder and head coach of The Mountain Project. Mike has dedicated his career to helping others train to perform at the highest level in the mountains.
Jennifer Boyer is a mom, a goat rancher, and owner of Farm 51. She grew up in Western New York and has lived in the Gallatin County for over 23 years. Jennifer is running for Gallatin County Commissioner because of her love for this place.
Pat moved to Montana from his birthplace in Ohio in 1977. Pat was elected to the Montana State Senate in 2018 and served in the 2019 and 2021 Legislative Sessions. In both sessions he was a member of the Senate Finance and Claims, Senate Natural Resources and Senate Fish and Game Committees. He’s running for Senate District 32 to strengthen the reasons why we choose to live, work and recreate in Montana.
Joe moved to Yellowstone in 2017. He lived in Lamar Valley for 2 ½ years and taught visitors about the ecology of Yellowstone. He is currently a teacher at MSU, and an avid cyclist.
Atticus is 21 years old and was born in Bozeman, Montana. He is an honors student at MSU studying engineering, sociology, and architecture.
Kelly grew up in Helena and has made the Gallatin Valley her home for the past 21 years. She is a writing professor in the English Department at MSU and enjoys fly fishing, camping, and hiking with her family in the GYE.
Adrian was born and raised in Wyoming. He has been a licensed Montana fly fishing outfitter for 20 years and is currently a graduate student at Montana State University studying aquatic insects. He has spent his entire life wading the rivers & streams of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
He grew up in Western North Carolina near the Smokies and moved to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem 25 years ago. He moved to Bozeman, Montana and directed the Greater Yellowstone Coalition. Mike is a respected environmental leader that has been honored by MSU and continues to give back to the community.
Shasta moved to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem when she was 3 years old. She is a mother and filmmaker at Grizzly Creek Films. She has also done a lot of volunteer work in the community including serving on the board at Gallatin Valley Farm to School, as well as helping in the public school system.
Patrick Byorth grew up in Billings, Montana, always wanting to become a biologist. He went to Carroll College in Helena, Montana then worked for Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks as a fisheries biologist from 1990- 2006. Pat joined the Montana Water Project of Trout Unlimited as a staff attorney. The focus of his work at Trout Unlimited is restoration of streams and habitats.
Kathleen Rolin was born in Michigan and moved to Bozeman when she was 27. She is a nutrition student at MSU. She loves to recreate in the GYE. Kathleen worked in the USA Coast Guard and is a mother to three kids.
