"We publish positive school and community news every other week. We cover sports, conduct personal interviews, write movie and book reviews, showcase creative writing pieces, and so much more. The Panther Press serves as a writing outlet for Chesapeake High School students who are interested in a future career in the publishing world. It gives them hands on experience with every aspect of the process of pitching article ideas, gathering information, drafting and revising articles, selecting accompanying photography, working on print layout, and getting feedback from their work from an editor, their fellow students, and the larger Chesapeake community."
