The Digital Product Innovations (DPI) track explores 3D printing, graphic design, and digital prototyping. In the 21st century, it only takes a matter of weeks to turn an idea into a physical product in someone’s house. This course covers the basics of user-centered research, product design, branding, CAD modeling, and 3D printing. An emphasis on sustainability pushes students to consider solutions with minimal environmental impact and maximum potential. Art meets engineering in this amazing world of digital design.
The curriculum we curate for TinkerCAD allows students who have never used CAD to make something for the first time, while still allowing experienced students to challenge themselves! Students at all levels will be able to design AND 3D print their own creations!
