The mental health professionals on this map have completed a 70-100 hour course of study in advanced education and skills in therapy with adopted children and their families through Portland State University’s Post Graduate Training Certificate in Adoptive & Foster Family Therapy. This directory is a resource and does not constitute an endorsement of a therapist or adoption professional. Families should contact each professional directly to inquire as to specialty, fees, experience, and services provided to determine the best therapist for their child/family. Families may also check the licensing boards to verify that the therapist is in good standing:
