PSPS has been involved in bringing music to campus for almost 40 years. Today, PSPS is a collection of students dedicated to bringing music to campus and then making sure it sounds as good as possible. We don’t stop at music either, wherever sound and lighting services can benefit students we want to be there. So whether it’s a cultural showcase, a guest lecture or just a dance party with a DJ, if you need professional sound and lighting on campus give us a call.

We function as a hands-on training ground for individuals interested in the live sound industry. We are a student fee-funded group, offering paid positions for student sound technicians hoping to learn about professional audio. We recognize that the production world has been generally exclusive of women, gender expansive individuals, and people of color. As many of our technicians go on to work in the production industry as professionals, our goal is to train and affirm technicians from every background in our organization with the hope that we can make a lasting change in the industry as a whole.
