Portland State University (PSU) is located in downtown Portland, about a 25 minute drive from the Portland International Airport. The airport is serviced by most major airlines and is a hub of Alaska Airlines. Regional participants can also travel by train directly into the downtown Amtrak Union Station (located at 800 NW Sixth Ave) .

From Airport to PSU: Take the light rail (called MAX) Red line from airport to downtown, then transfer to MAX Green line, headed south, at Pioneer Square Station, and alight at SW Mill Station (second last stop) where you will find PSU. The conference venue is two blocks to the right of the train.

Comprehensive real time public transit information on MAX, Streetcars, and buses is available at Trimet. Google Maps also provides transit options within Portland using scheduled (non-real-time) arrivals.

From Amtrak Station to PSU: Take the light rail (MAX) Green line from the Union Station headed south and get off at the last or second last stop as mentioned above.

Conference Venue: Please head to Room TBD of Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH) for the conference. The building can be found on the campus map.

Neither PSU parking nor downtown parking are free on Saturdays. The nearest parking garage is PSU Parking Structure 1, (parking fee about $7.00). The next nearest is the Shattuck parking lot. Downtown on-street parking is $2.00 per hour with a 5 hour limit. More information on parking near PSU is available at PSU Parking.
