NLO Alums at NLO 2022

Tara Mussulman, a graduate of NLO’s 2020 cohort will serve as the 2022-2023, Chair of the NLO alumni board, this will be Tara’s second year serving. She is currently a grad student in the Secondary Teacher Preparation program at Portland State. As chair, she is focused on three key areas: foundation enrichment, alumni engagement and connection. Tara feels an instilled sense of empowerment, belonging, and community in reflecting on her involvement with NLO and CWL. She brings with her decades of leadership experience from her tenure with the Portland Pearl Rotary Club and Rotary International. “I am humbled and honored to be a part of such a dynamic group of women.”

When not studying or volunteering, Tara can be found either at an Oregon Symphony performance, gazing upon and reading books from Broadway Books, rewatching Ted Lasso, or exploring and thoroughly investigating all Portland chocolatiers.
