PSU On-Campus Housing
The housing priority deadline for new, incoming students was June 15, 2023.
Students who applied by this date: guaranteed housing, choice of room type.
It’s still possible to sign-up for on-campus housing. Learn how to sign-up for on-campus housing.
Students should regularly check their PSU email for updates, room assignments, and roommate information.
Important Dates:
Mid-late August: Room/Roommate assignments and move-in times with be emailed to students
September 14-16: Early move-in for international students (must sign-up by August 25th to move-in early. See information below)
September 21: First Year Students move-in
September 22-25: Transfer & Returning Students move-in
Housing Payment:
Payments are made online at MyPSU, or in-person by cash/check at the Cashier Office
Full term rates are billed at the beginning of each term unless the PSU Payment Plan is established.
Defer Housing Contract to Winter Term:
Completed on-campus housing application but have not received a housing assignment: email housing@pdx.edu to defer to winter term.
Completed on-campus housing application and received a housing assignment: You need to cancel your contract and reactivate it for winter term. There is a reactivation fee (about $50) in addition to any cancellation fees that may apply.
Cancel Housing Contract:
If a student needs to cancel their contract they need to email housing@pdx.edu to start the process. The housing team can answer any questions and help with any questions.

Optional Early Move-in For Intl Students
If on-campus housing is confirmed, international students can apply to move-in early before the International Student Orientation.
Deadline to apply for early move-in: Friday, August 25.
Early Move-In Dates: September 13, 14 and 15 (6-8 days before the start of the fall term housing contract which officially begins on September 21, 2023)
How to Sign-up: Sign-up through PSU Housing Portal.
Rates: $26-$63 depending on the building (most rooms are $26-$39)
Check-in: 10:30am-11:30pm at the Montgomery Service Desk
Students who would like to move-in between September 16 and the regular move-in dates should contact housing directly. It might be possible but would need to be arranged and confirmed with housing.

Temporary Place to stay (before On-campus move-in)
Good option if you are arriving late and won’t be able to check-in by 11:30pm.
University Place Hotel (next to PSU) is $81 per night and includes breakfast. Email Jill Townley, Associate Director of International Student Life, Office of International Student and Scholar Services. She will help triage a room with a discount for you. Include your name, email address, and requested hotel dates. Her email is townleyj@pdx.edu.

First Year Experience (FYE) Program (qualifying students include: students under the age of 20 who graduated from high school less than a year prior to enrolling at PSU, students who took a gap year after high school, students with less than 30 college credits)
All First-year housing students will need to select a meal plan (part of the Housing Contract)
All Access (19 meals per week at Victor’s, $50 dining dollars per term)
The 15 (15 meals per week at Victor’s, $100 dining dollars per term)
The 10 (10 meals per week at Victor’s, $300 dining dollars per term)
Economy (10 meals per week, no dining dollars)
