Thank you for your interest in sustainability education in early childhood and Early Childhood Sustainability Community Action Project (ECSCAP) - offered by the University of Oklahoma, Hunter College, CUNY, and Portland State University.

Based on the research questions below, our work is focused on supporting sustainability practices in early childhood settings.
How do early childhood educators identify sustainability practices?
How are identified sustainability beliefs currently implemented in early childhood programs?
In what ways does participation in the workshops and interviews influence the practices of early childhood educators?
What do early childhood educators identify as new knowledges, skills, or actions after completing the sustainability workshops?
How does the study impact future workshops and curriculum development?
Participation can happen at a center or individual level within the center. All activities will include certificates and documentation of professional development. There is no cost to participate.

The ability to send your team to a series of four workshops (we ask that individuals participate in all four workshops, if possible).
Once a month, a 2-hour workshop will focus on one of the sustainability topics below.
Each workshop includes reflection, activities, and ideas for the classroom, discussions, and content knowledge.
